The Baptist Fish
Today we played at the dedication of White Oak Lake Baptist Church. Check out that sign! We had to take a picture--it's the first Baptist church sign (or any denomination's church sign, come to think of it!) we've seen with a picture of a largemouth bass on it!
We are just getting our mailing list started. If you would like to hear when we'll be in your area, or when we're starting to do something interesting musically. . . (I know you're thinking, "Like stomping on tambourines while you strum your guitar and chew gum?" But I'm thinking more along the lines of, "We're coming out with our new CD!!"). . .Anyway, if you would like to hear about this kind of thing, then please sign up in the form at the side of this blog here! ;)

The fish is a LARGE mouth. Is the fish on there because all good Baptists love to eat with their large mouths? I wonder if they like chicken bar-BQ?
They had a wild game meal (coons, squirrel, deer, etc.) while we were there!! We didn't get to eat it though because we were setting up. You should see the fish mounted on the wall of this one guy's house there! One of his largemouths was over ELEVEN pounds!
Not sure how the deletion happened but the dinner sounds interesting, however, I prefer the domesticated stuff like chicken. Venison and Squirrel I can eat but the coon???
Don't think so!! LOL
